MIRI: The Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DPPMB) recently visited several companies here to explore partnerships and strengthen ties.
Their first stop was the Chamber of Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs (DUBS) on Saturday, where they were warmly welcomed by its chairman Mohammad Hafidz Rohani.
They then proceeded to Agrofarm Sdn Bhd and Hafidz said that the delegation had showed interest in importing 2,000 trays of preserved salted duck eggs monthly from the farm, provided there is an adequate supply.
The delegation plans to spend three days in the city.
He believed this visit will pave the way for increased cross-border trade and collaboration between entrepreneurs from Brunei and Miri.
“Our hope is to expand business connections and foster more joint projects between DPPMB and DUBS Miri in the coming years,” he added.
