KUCHING: Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs Chamber (DUBS) Kuching Women section visited the Salvation Army Children’s Home in Jalan Upland here last weekend.
Led by its chairperson Zaiton Istiar Hussain Khan, the members distributed goodies and money packets to 52 children as part of the effort to remember the less fortunate in society.
“I believe the Salvation Army is doing a very good job in taking care of the children here. Despite limited resources, everything is very well managed and maintained,” said Zaiton.
Also present was a political secretary to the Chief Minister Dayang Nurfizawati Tun Openg.
