KUCHING: The Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting will be postponed to April 16.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said the postponement was necessary due to the extension of the movement control order (MCO) to April 14.
“The DUN sitting will be held on April 16,” he said during a press conference held at Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday.
On March 19, the state DUN Secretary’s Office in a statement revealed that the first sitting for this year would last only one day on April 13.
The statement also disclosed that there will be no opening ceremony or dinner in connection with the meeting.
Only the media, administrative staff, state assemblymen and heads of departments are allowed to attend the meeting.
