MIRI: Two men were caught yesterday afternoon by a Sarawak Energy Berhad (Sesco) security over suspicion of cable theft at a traffic light at Pujut 7 here.
The suspects, in their late 30s, were handed over to the police for further investigation.
Prior to the arrest, there have been reports on power disruptions within the area caused by faulty cables due to theft.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects might have been responsible for the stealing of cables which have affected traffic lights at Pujut 7 and the junction to Asean Bridge.
