KUCHING: Since last year, the e-payment facility has been expanded to several districts and branches of the National Registration Department (NRD).
Among them are the NRD Kuching Headquarters, NRD of UTC Sarawak Branch in Kuching, NRD of UTC Sibu Branch and NRD of UTC Miri Branch.
According to the department in a statement on Wednesday (Jan 19), through this facility, the public can make a choice in making payments at the NRD counters.
In this regard, the public who deal with the relevant branch offices are strongly encouraged to use the payment method via e-payment.
The government implemented this payment facility at the NRD to provide additional payment methods through the use of debit and credit cards.
It is also safe and efficient and in line with the government’s efforts to increase the use of cashless payments.
