KUCHING: Small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) have been invited to register themselves in the E-Preneurs platform to market their products even more broadly.
According to its spokesperson Aina Azizah, the said platform is a State Women and Family Department’s (JWKS) initiative and is open to the local community free of charge.
“This platform will not only help the SMEs market their product on our website, but we will also handle their products’ marketing on their social media platform.
“Moreover, those who join this platform will also be taught skills to market their products and many more,” she said today.
Aina stated that the platform was established in 2019 and is similar to Facebook Marketplace.
“At first, the platform was only open to women entrepreneurs to help them venture in entrepreneurship but now we have opened it to the community.
“The public can get more information and register themselves through our website at ewanita.com/epreneurs/home,” she added.
Aside from E-Preneurs, she also mentioned that the JWKS has the E-Wanita platform which is more of a helpline for women.
“This platform focuses more on counseling. So, for women who need help, they are more than welcome to register themselves here and get help,” she said.
