KUCHING: Wife of Head of State, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib recently presented donations to needy folk through the Majlis Jalinan Kasih Tahun Baru Cina at Mile 7 Business Hall and Basketball Court at SJK Chuang, Batu Kitang, here.
The donations were in the form of cash and dried food while the 100 recipients were from two constituencies; 50 came from Kota Sentosa while the other 50 were from Batu Kitang.
Also present during the ceremony were Kota Sentosa assemblyman, Wilfred Yap Yau Sin, Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang, Datuk Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin and permanent secretary of Ministry for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Noriah Ahmad.
