MIRI: A Perodua Myvi parked in front of a factory building in Tudan here was suddenly caught on fire early this morning (Jan 29).
According to Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) acting chief Ahmad Nizam Sapaiee, they received an emergency call from the public at 3.05am.
Following that, a team of firemen from Lutong station, which is located about 11km from the incident, were immediately deployed to the scene.
Upon arrival, they confirmed that the fire had already engulfed the car completely.
However, no injuries were reported as there were no passengers inside the car.
The operation ended at 4am.
