KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Eastern Field Command Headquarters of the Army (PMTTD) is gearing up for a series of 10 programmes in commemoration of PMTTD’s remarkable decade-long journey.
Lieutenant General Datuk Mohd Sofi Md Lepi, the commander of the Eastern Field Command of the Army, said that these upcoming events and programmes aim to pay tribute to the 10-year history of PMTTD.
“I extend an invitation to all members of the Eastern Field Command of the Army to join me in diligently upholding high integrity while carrying out our tasks.
“It is crucial to recognise that our current strength is a result of cohesive unity among each individual.
“None of us should serve as a disruptive element, seeking to undermine the integrity of the organization that has been carefully constructed over the years.”
Furthermore, he revealed that PMTTD will adopt the theme “A Decade Together with Preserved Sovereignty” for the year to celebrate this significant milestone.
The scheduled programmes include the 10th Anniversary Launch at the Kem Muara Tuang Multipurpose Hall on Monday (Feb 26), the Yassin and Tahlil Reading Ceremony at the Sollahudin Al-Ayubbi Mosque on March 31, the 10th Anniversary Parade at the Muara Tuang Camp Parade Ground on May 6, and the Prime Welfare Visit to members and families in Sarawak and Sabah on May 11.
Other events encompass the Regimental Officers’ Dinner on May 18, the Unlicensed Senior Regimental Officers’ Dinner on June 29, the Prime Forum at Kem Muara Tuang on June 6, the Blood Donation Programme on July 13, the Pure Soul Programme on July 13, the Public Agency Interaction Day in Kuching on Sept 24 and in Kota Kinabalu on Sept 28, and the Media Day in Kuching on October 19 and in Kota Kinabalu on Oct 26.
In this context, Sofi invited all members of the Eastern Field Command of the Army to unite and continue to fulfill the trust and responsibilities bestowed by the people and the country.
He pointed out that this collaboration is essential for the prosperity and harmony currently enjoyed to endure and last forever, in alignment with the motto “Vigilant Resolve”.
