She reminded the organisers and vendors to be mindful of the variety of clients they will encounter during the carnival and to be prepared to help all of them choose the next step in their education.

“What we want is that this carnival becomes a one-stop centre to assist would be students transition from school to any one of the public institutes of higher learning in Malaysia.” Hamsiah said in her speech.

The carnival is also an exhibition with numerous activities conducted by the different vendors for their targeted clients and visitors.

“We will see many activities carried out during the carnival with stakeholders and clients such as a forum on marketability of students and how they should choose courses,” she added.
