KUCHING: An educational visit to Kuala Lumpur by the State’s Protocol and Public Relations Unit in the Chief Minister’s Office ended on a high note yesterday.

The delegation, comprising nine public relations officers, was led by Special Administrative Officer Dato Norhayati Mohd Ismail.

The two-day programme from Nov 27 to 28 included visits to Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) , Pet rol iam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) and the Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) in Putrajaya.

Norhyati said the visit was primarily to expose the officers on the roles and functions of corporate communications as well as to gain some knowledge on management issues and media relations. Apart from gaining an insight into corporate communication, the visitors also managed to enhance better rapport and networking with their hosts.

At Petronnas, the delegation was briefed by its head of corporate communications, Norirham Hakimi whi le at DBKL they were briefed by Nur Nazariah. Meanwhile, at PCB they were briefed by its director general, Datuk Harjeet Singh.
