SIMUNJAN: The Malaysia Education Blueprint (PPPM) 2013–2025 needs to be implemented successfully with full commitment by teachers and parents.
Simunjan assemblyman Awla Dris noted that parents and teachers must demonstrate a strong commitment to their respective roles to ensure a successful educational transformation.
“Students’ success is not only due to concentration on their studies at school but also includes the help of teachers and parents who strive towards the maximum achievement of the children,” he was quoted as saying in a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS).
He was speaking at the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and Outstanding Student Awards for the 2022/2023 session of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Haji Bujang Rangawan Putin here yesterday (Feb 15).
The Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013–2025 was designed to assess the effectiveness of Malaysia’s present educational system while taking historical starting points into account and comparing them to global benchmarks.
The blueprint also outlines future goals for the Malaysian educational system, strategies to enhance students’ ambitions, and tactical adjustments to realise these goals.
Awla also called on schools to work hard to improve students’ achievement to an excellent level.
Also present were SK Haji Bujang Rangawan Putin headmaster Jamali Bujang, senior administrative assistant Abdul Aziz Mohamad Sanusi, the school’s PIBG chairman Sapiee Hanapi and assistant officer of Samarahan district education office Haduta Sharkawi.
