KUCHING: Eighteen participants from various federal and state government agencies as well as the private sector have recently taken part in a Course on Handling of Ceremony hosted by E.G. Wise (Skills).
The two-day course, held at a hotel here on Aug 28 to 29, comprised several modules, among them are the Basics of Event Hosting, Hosting Script Writing, Ethics and Protocol Basics, Dealing with Stage Fright and Event Management Basics.
The course was conducted by Sophia Jenang, a Council Moderator with more than 30 years of experience and a certified facilitator of HRD Corp Malaysia.
In addition to theoretical learning, the participants engaged in a hands-on management simulation session to host the course’s closing ceremony and certificate presentation.
