KUCHING: The World Sim Clan Foundation delegates are urged to actively utilise technology especially with the emergence of the 5G revolutionary era.

Sim told the delegates present at the dinner that they should pay attention to the development trend and application of
electronic information technology in the world today, especially with the recent emergence of the 5G revolutionary era, global village without borders and the moment of realisation.

“Technology should be focused on to build our
information network to strengthen interaction and complementary links between the Sim clan units around the world, as well as for us to develop ourselves.

“The permanent secretariat of the foundation has been established to provide a database
centre, an instant and enthusiastic service point for the Sim Clan Association and related organisations around the world,” he informed.

Sim further noted that the foundation should focus on quality improvement through programmes such as holding various academic exchange forums on contemporary topics, Chinese traditional customs and cultural talents and essay contests on the history of the world and the development through times.

“A networking party will also help to promote understanding but this sort of activity requires money and time,” he explained.

Furthermore, he addressed that the foundation should also try to promote incentive
programmes that attract the younger generation as they are the clan’s future.

He added that these are the goals given by the board of
directors and in order to achieve them, the clan organisations that have not yet joined the association will be able to actively join the world foundation.

Sim reiterated, “We are of the same roots and we will not be involved in any political issues or ideology.

“We will negotiate unity, respect each other, carry out our responsibilities and implement our unity as this is the founding purpose of this clan.”
