KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today announced that the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) would be enforced at four locations in Tatau, Bintulu, Pakan and Sarikei.

“In Tatau, the EMCO will be enforced at four localities, namely Rumah Buli Amit, Sungai Semanok on June 18 until July 1; Rumah Salang Unsa, Sg Separai and Rumah Ricky Amin, Sg Kelawit on June 19 until July 2 and Rumah Ulen Segaya, Nanga Tekalit from June 20 until July 3,” it said in a statement on Sunday (June 20).

“It will be enforced at Rumah Dayang Serang, Batu 34, Jalan Bintulu-Miri, Bintulu from June 19 until July 2.”

The committee added the EMCO would be enforced at two places in Pakan, namely Rumah Ijau, Sg Kusing and Rumah Lawang, Sg Kura from June 19 until July 5.

“The EMCO will also be enforced at four localities in Sarikei, namely at Rumah Jawa, Sungai Selangan and Rumah John, Sg Minus Jakar on June 20 until July 6; Rumah Assun Simpang Koko Sg Paoh and Rumah Man, Simpang Koko Sg Paoh from June 21 until July 7.”

The SDMC also announced the extension of the EMCO at two locations in Dalat and Bintulu.

It said the EMCO would be extended at six localities in Dalat, namely at Rumah Bala Umba, Batang Oya; Rumah Tulu Sli, Batang Oya; Rumah Duah Entingi, Batang Oya; Rumah Balin Gema, Batang Oya; SK St Luke, Batang Oya, KK Nanga Baoh, Batang Oya from June 20 until July 4.

In Bintulu, the EMCO will be extended at one locality, namely   Blok D, G, H, I, O and Q Bandaria Park from June 20 until June 26.
