KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today (Jul 2) announced that the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) would be enforced at two localities in the state.
It said the EMCO would be enforced at Rumah (Rh) Amban, Sg Rian, Kabo, Saratok from July 3 to July 17 and Rh Malang anak Bada, Sungai Bayan, Mukah from July 4 to July 17.
It also announced the extension of EMCO at Rh Inchang, Skriau Ai, Sri Aman from July 2 to July 9.
The committee in a statement today (Friday) also announced the end of the EMCO at eight other localities.
The EMCO ended yesterday (July 1) at Rh Ricky Amin, Sg. Kelawit, Tatau; Rh Dayang Serang, Batu 34, Jalan Bintulu-Miri, Bintulu; Rh Lampoh Dana, Sg. Mas KM25, Jalan Bintulu-Tatau, Bintulu and Seri Minah Timber Quarters, Bintulu.
Meanwhile, EMCO at Rh Lasit, Sg. Sare, Sarikei ended today.
The SDMC said the EMCO at Rh Miskin, Batu 13 1/2 Jalan Oya, Sibu; Rh Gabriel Bujang Ikau, Sungai Lepah, Tanjung Manis and Rh Empi, Tanjong Lelengau, Pakan would come to end tomorrow (July 3).
