KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has ended the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) at 11 locations.

The EMCO at Bukit Mabong, Rumah Tajai Nanga Sebiro in Balleh, Rumah Nyamuk, Sungai Serau in Sungai Gaat, Rumah Laso and Rumah Rentap at Nanga Entawau in Balleh ended today (June 16).

The EMCO at Kampung Hulu Tambak in Betong; Rumah Empawie and Rumah Ngalai Sungai Tisa, both at Sungai Yong in Kapit; Rumah Setia at Sembahyang and Rumah Senah at Sembahyang Ban in Sri Aman also ended today (June 16).

Meanwhile, the EMCO at Rumah Sebastian Ngalang, Batu 6, Jalan Oya in Sibu will end tomorrow (June 17) and the EMCO at Rumah Jalin, Sugai Masit in Julau will end this Friday (June 18).

The committee, in a statement today (June 16), also announced the enforcement of the EMCO at three locations.

The EMCO at Semai Mekar Plantation worker quarters and the GSS Port quarters at Samalaju, Bintulu, which commenced on Tuesday (June 15), will be enforced until June 28.

As for Kampung Serikin in Bau, the EMCO will be enforced from tomorrow (June 17) until June 30.
