KUCHING: A staff quarters at Nam Joon Trading in Bintulu district was placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) starting Saturday and to end on Aug 20.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) declared the end for the order at a longhouse Rumah Peter Mudai, Sungai Sian, Bintangor in Maradong district; Rumah Wat Jikang in Julau district; Rumah Mulok, Klua Krian in Saratok district and Rumah Jelaping Sumok at KM22 Tatau-Sangan road in Tatau district starting from Sunday.
On another note, SDMC also reported that the zone status for Telang Usan district had turned yellow from orange after reporting 16 cases in the past 14 days.
In addition, 18 districts comprising Selangau, Sri Aman, Kabong, Asajaya, Subis, Mukah, Simunjan, Tatau, Lundu, Saratok, Bau, Maradong, Samarahan, Serian, Kuching, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu remained in red zones.
The districts of Dalat, Kapit, Kanowit, Beluru, Tebedu and Betong remained as orange zones while the districts of Bukit Mabong, Lubok Antu, Matu, Marudi and Limbang maintained their statuses as green zones.
So altogether there are 18 districts remaining as red zones, 11 as yellow zones while six are orange zones and five continuing as green zones.
