KUCHING: Enhanced movement control order (EMCO) will be enforced in four new locations in Sarawak.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) revealed that Rh Jerry Lai Kampung Siga in Sri Amang would undergo EMCO from June 2 to 15; Kampung Jaie in Asajaya from June 3 to 16; Kampung Empila in Samarahan from June 4 to 17; and Rh Sigah Lak Sg Baoh Burak in Dalat, from June 5 to 18.

Meanwhile, EMCO has been extended for three locations namely Rh Ajing Selepong Lop and Rh Aji Sunga Ban in Sri Aman from June 2 to 15, as well as Rh Keli Sg Minus in Sarikei from June 7 to 10.

SDMC also disclosed that EMCO had been lifted in eight places.

“The EMCO ended on June 3 for Rh Keli, Sgn Minus in Sarikei; Rh Benet Jumat Ujan, Kampung Boyan in Kuching and Rh Ribun, Sg Klampai in Saratok and Rh Joseph Rungkai, Batu 8, Jalan Maskat, Labang in Sebauh.

“EMCO will be lifted on June 4 for Rh Lipa, Sg Sepayang, Bintangor in Maradong while Rh Rihya, Jagoi Lama and Rh Saba, Ulu Nunggang in Pakan on June 5.”
