MERADONG: Special grant recipients in this constituency have been urged to utilise the funds judiciously, aligning them with the specific needs of their respective organisations.
The assemblyman, Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing, emphasised that prudent utilisation of these grants would ensure a lasting and significant impact on the local community.
During a recent concise presentation ceremony, grants totalling RM58,000 were disbursed to 18 clubs, the Women’s Bureau, Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK), and Parents and Teachers Associations (PTA).
These funds were intended to bolster the execution of various yearly programs to foster community engagement and well-being in the region.
Ding expressed hope that these provisions would offer convenience and bolster the recipients in organising future activities within their organisations.
He underscored the Sarawak government’s dedication to meeting the needs of the populace, particularly local organisations.
This financial assistance is poised to facilitate the smoother and more efficient realisation of their planned endeavours, ultimately empowering the community in Meradong.
