KUCHING: The BorneoCraft Global (BSG) Expo and Conference 2024 will take place from November 27 to December 1, showcasing a unique opportunity for organisations to engage deeply with local craft communities in Sarawak.

Organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) under the Sarawak Craft Council, the event celebrates local craftsmanship while fostering meaningful partnerships between businesses and artisans.

“With the theme ” Globalising Local,” the Expo and Conference seeks to align corporate sponsorship with impactful community development initiatives.

“BCG aims to provide a robust platform for Sarawak’s craft community,” BorneoCraft said in its press release.

While the expo is held at the Kuching Waterfront Esplanade for five days, BorneoCraft stated that the conference will be held on November 29 at the Hilton Hotel here, bringing together international speakers to share their insights and knowledge.

“The Expo offers artisans a vital marketplace to showcase their craftsmanship, engaging potential buyers from local and international arenas, and sustaining their income.
