BINTULU: The Bintulu Development Board (BDA) is currently working on a plan called the BDA Strategic Plan 2024-2030 with the goal of transforming Bintulu into a low-carbon city.
During the BDA Strategic Plan 2024 – 2030 Townhall programme recently, BDA General Manager Datuk Muhamad Yakup Kari announced that UNIMAS Holding Sdn Bhd has been appointed as a consultant for the project.
According to him, the first phase of the project involved holding discussions with various stakeholders, both from within and outside the BDA.
Last Thursday (June 8), 76 BDA employees from different departments participated in a session called the 2024 – 2030 BDA Strategic Plan Engagement Session, which was held at Wisma Bintulu.
The following day (June 9), a total of 116 participants from the local community, government agencies, and industry in Bintulu attended the BDA 2024 – 2030 Strategic Plan Townhall Programme, held at the Bintulu Promenade Hotel.
There are still more discussion sessions to be held before the final report is released.
