KUALA LUMPUR : In response to popular market demand, Shell Malaysia has made available a new
1.2-litre pack for its premium Shell Advance 4T Long Ride 10W-40 motorcycle engine oil.
In a press statement issued by Shell yesterday, the statement said the prices were RM68.80 for
Peninsular Malaysia and RM69.00 for East Malaysia for the new 1.2-litre pack.
“Shell Advance 4T Long Ride is a fully synthetic 4-stroke motorcycle engine oil with PurePlus
Technology.
“Pioneered by Shell, PurePlus Technology is a revolutionary process that delivers a crystal-clear, 99.5per cent pure base oil1 made from natural gas. The oil is engineered to provide more endurance during long rides up to 6,000 km without compromising engine performance and protection.
“It is also formulated with Shell’s unique Active Cleansing Technology that effectively cleanses and maintains a cleaner engine,” the statement read.
As a result, the statement added that Shell Advance 4T Long Ride engine oil stayed in grade far longerand kept the engine running trouble-free and more efficiently, especially on long journeys allowing riders to enjoy peace of mind and also lower oil consumption

said Shell Advance was the leading motorcycle engine oil in West Malaysia and many modern motorcycles now also required 1.2-litres of engine oil to ensure optimal performance and protection.
“Our new Shell Advance 4T Long Ride 1.2-litre pack size not only meets this demand but also offers several benefits. Firstly, it reduces the need for multiple purchases, saving time and effort.
“Secondly, it ensures your bike gets the precise amount of lubricant it needs for peak engine
performance and longevity. This helps make bike maintenance easier and more efficient,” he said.
The Shell Advance 4T Long Ride 10W-40 motorcycle engine oil in the new 1.2-litre pack was officially launched at a bike workshop in Sentul recently.
During the event, every purchase entitled the bike to a free oil inspection. Customers also participated in games and lucky draws with attractive prizes, including Ducati-branded jackets and tickets to the upcoming 2023 Malaysian MotoGP.
This newly launched engine oil is now available at participating Shell-branded and independent
workshops.
