MUKAH: The Mukah District English Adoption School Programme was launched at the Dataran Gemilang of SK Mukah here last Sunday.
The event which was aimed at consolidating the usage of English among the students was officiated at by Tellian Assemblyman, Yussibnosh Balo.
Four English enhancing presentations were featured at the programme namely `Three Little Butterflies by the pre-school children, sign language by Jari Jemari Team, ‘The Shepherd Who Cried Wolf’ a pantomime by the Special Education Class and ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ Jazz chant by Level 1 pupils.
Mukah District Education Officer, Haji Bugin Haji Ragoon and SK Mukah headmaster, Burhanuddin Kaderi also spoke at the event.
Among those present were SAO Bujang Rahman Seli, who represented Mukah District Officer, headmasters and headmistresses and the school inspectors from the Education Department.
