KUCHING: Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Sarawak will strive to enhance its strategic plan for the public and private sectors to ensure organisational excellence in line with the state’s digital transformation agenda.

A member of MPC board of director Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg (pic) said top executives and administrators must embrace technology to give high impact performance and excellence through
innovation.

“MPC Sarawak will continue to provide programmes to give high impact results especially training our labour force in the state so that they will be more competent and innovative in carrying out their tasks in various levels of management, to be more efficient human capital,” he said at the closing ceremony of a workshop on Digital Transformation: Big Data Analytic for Organisational Excellence organised by MPC at a hotel here yesterday.

He stressed that with rapid development in information technology (IT), it was important for organisations to empower its human capital to stay relevant in the respective industry.

“By participating and engaging with experts and academics in various fields, this will help to enrich self-development.

“Learning is an on-going process. A holistic human capital is essential for organisations to achieve higher productivity, quality and sustainability, which lead to organisational excellence at all levels.”      

Abang Abdul Karim also has called on private and public sectors to participate in MPC organisational programmes to remain competitive in the global market.

“To ensure our exports are competitive, we must be
productive,” he said.
