KUCHING: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is currently reaching out to a select group of EPF members aged 100 years and above who have not claimed their EPF savings.

As part of its ongoing efforts to assist members, EPF urged the individuals or their beneficiaries to check for any remaining unclaimed balances.

“Members or their beneficiaries can conveniently verify the status of their unclaimed balances by accessing the EPF website and using their identification card number or membership number,” EPF said in a notice placed in a local newspaper.

It is imperative that members or their beneficiaries take action and submit a claim for any unclaimed balance by Dec 31, it said.

Failure to do so will result in the transfer of unclaimed savings to the Unclaimed Money Management Section of the Accountant General’s Department.

After the transfer, any subsequent claims must be directed to department.

For additional information and assistance, individuals can reach out through the EPF’s official website: https://www.kwsp.gov.my/ms/home or the nearest EPF branch
