“We celebrate Christmas with the whole family. Our family members from the kampung will come and visit as well,” she said.

Government agency employee Monica Segua, 48, said that one of the highlights of her Christmas Day every year was going carolling with her church members.

She said that they would also distribute some gifts as they went carolling.

“I usually have a simple celebration on the day itself with my family because I work before and after Christmas Day,” she said.
