KUCHING: Sarawak State Library is holding various exciting children’s activities during school holidays to keep them entertained.
Children aged between four and 12 years are invited to join the activities. The activities were held starting yesterday until Saturday, 25 March, 2017 from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm at Children’s Infotheque and Makerspace, Ground Floor, Sarawak State Library.
Among the activities that will be held are Makerbot 3D Printing, 3Doodler: 3D Printing in Your Hand, Lincoln Corner Video Screening, Otedama, Nanobuilders, Koinobori, Love Bugs Photo Frame, Dress Up Dolls and Shark & Bear Origami.
Each child will receive help and guidance from experienced coordinators of the Sarawak State Library.
Doing these activities will allow children first-hand experience of seeing and thinking about art and the habit of making things themselves (DIY), giving them the inspiration to explore their own ideas.
This is a great opportunity for the children to have fun in a meaningful environment and walk away with their own DIY artwork.
Admission is free. For further details and schedule of the activities, visit the library’s official website at www.pustaka-sarawak.com or social media, Facebook: pustaka.sarawak, Twitter and Instagram: pustakaswk or contact Ong Soon Foong at tle: 082-442000 ext 342 or email ongsf@sarawak.gov.my.
