MIRI: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri Branch will organise the Sarawak Children’s Festival on Aug 27-28.

Various educational activities are lined up for children aged between four and 12.

Among the activities are storytelling sessions with renowned storytellers, science discoveries, games and dance sessions, makers market, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) activities as well as arts and crafts sessions.

The storytellers invited to perform are Linda Ang, also known as Hong Jie Jie; Mochamad Ariyo Zidni (Brother Aio) from Indonesia, Nor Azhar Ishak (Uncle NAI) and Jackie Kerin from Australia.

The activities, which involve other agencies as well, will be held in 11 spaces, namely Sensory Space, Story Space, Makers Space, Gastro Space, Linguistic Space, Market Space, Performance Space, Games Space, Writers Space, Planet Space and Artistic Space.
