DARO: The highly anticipated Pesta Daro 2024 will be held starting Aug 25 to Sept 1, featuring 25 exciting events for the public.
Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad said that various programmes have been lined up throughout the festival.
“We are not just focusing on the festival itself but filling it with various interesting programmes that cover all aspects of community life.
“Alhamdulillah, with the preparations made by all committees, I am confident that Pesta Daro 2024 will be more lively compared to last year,” he said during a press conference here recently.
Safiee also emphasised that this year’s Pesta Daro would be a great opportunity for the people in Daro.
“This is because, based on our experience last year, the people gained many benefits, particularly in the socioeconomic activities throughout the festival.
“We generated an income of more than RM1 million, showing that Pesta Daro is a golden opportunity especially for traders,” he explained.
Additionally, Safiee advised all committees to continue making the necessary preparations and ensure the festival runs smoothly.
He hopes that the local residents will take this opportunity to improve their livelihood and increase their income.
