KUCHING: As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, Executive College proudly announces the launch of an unprecedented free education programme, along with a series of open days scheduled for Dec 9, 10, 16 and 17.
This historic initiative underscores the college’s dedication to expanding access to quality education.
“For a quarter of a century, Executive College has been synonymous with excellence in tertiary education,” said Owen Voon, chief executive officer of the college.
“Our free education programme is a testament to our unwavering commitment to inclusivity and empowerment through learning. We are excited to invite the community to our open days falling on the coming weekends, finding out more details of the free education campaign,” he said.
“The free education initiative encompasses a variety of diploma and foundation programmes, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse student population. This ambitious undertaking aims to eliminate financial barriers to education, welcoming more students into the fold of higher learning.
“The students who have undertaken the free education academic programmes will have a continuous pathway locally to two degree programmes, Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, which are in collaboration with Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL),” added Voon.
“Our open days in December will provide an excellent opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore our campus, meet faculty members, and learn about our free diploma courses,” said Jessica, Head of Marketing.
“We encourage everyone interested in furthering their education to join us and discover the possibilities that Executive College offers,” she said.
Applications for the free diploma and foundation programmes are now open.
The first set of courses is estimated to begin in the upcoming academic year. Demand is expected to be high, and early application is advised.
“As we look back on 25 years of shaping minds and futures, we’re excited to embark on this new journey,” said Owen.
“The tagline for the college’s 25th anniversary is “Educating Generations, Empowering Futures: 25 Years of Excellence Quality Education.
Our open days and free education initiative are just the beginning of a new chapter in making quality education accessible to all,” he added.
