LABUAN: Exness Investment Bank Limited has partnered with Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) to award the Exness Fintech Scholarships.

Aimed at supporting talented students pursuing degrees in Data Science, Software Engineering, Technology Multimedia, and Business Computing, the initiative aligns with Exness’ broader commitment to fostering the growth of the fintech sector and nurturing the next generation of tech leaders.

Exness Investment Bank chief executive officer David Moyes said that supporting these future talents would not only help them achieve their academic goals but also contribute to the development of local human capital and the broader fintech ecosystem in Malaysia.

“We are thrilled to award scholarships to these bright young minds in Labuan.

“As a hub for international business and financial services, Labuan presents a unique opportunity for students to gain invaluable experience in the fintech sector,” he said at the presentation of the scholarships at UMSKAL today.

Moyes said that the scholarships not only represent a significant investment in the future of the fintech sector in Labuan but also serve as a model for public-private partnerships that support education and drive innovation.

We are proud to be part of this initiative that empowers our students to become future leaders in technology and business,” he said.

The scholarships cover tuition fees and living allowances, providing significant financial relief to recipients.

Five recipients, currently in their second and third year of study, were selected based on academic merit, financial need, and a demonstrated passion for technology and innovation.
