TATAU: A total of 5,338 heads of household from 258 longhouses and villages in Tatau district will receive free face masks from the state government starting last Sunday (April 26) until today (April 28).
The local community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK) will be in charge in assisting the District Office to distribute the face masks to the local residents.
Pemanca Gerosen Jubin representing the Tatau district thanked the state government for the contribution.
“The face masks are necessary for the local community in preventing the spread of Covid-19,” he said during the handing over of face masks at Tatau District Office on Sunday.
Also present were Tatau District administrative officers SAO Calvin Ligong, SAO Long Jok, Penghulu Micheal Agul, Penghulu Alister and Penghulu Sanok Magai.
