KUCHING: Asteel Group at Demak Laut has informed that one of its factory workers tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday.
The company’s management in a statement said as such, its factory and office located at Lot 712, Demak Lauk Industrial Park were closed on Monday (Nov 16).
“The factory will undergo full sanitisation and factory and office staff will undergo a swab test which is to be carried out by the Health Ministry,” it announced in a Facebook post on Monday.
They also said all persons-under-investigation (PUI) from the company will undergo quarantine.
“We shall resume operation on Tuesday (Nov 17),” it said.
