Fadzly, Abdul Rahman eye honours for S’wak

KUCHING: Two superstar athletes, Fadzly Julai from Warrior Miri Gym and Awang Abdul Rahman from PS Muaythai Bintulu will be representing Sarawak in the D1 Fighting Championship: Pride Of Rhino 2017.

The prestigious tournament in the professional category was the idea of the president of Muaythai Association of Sabah, Ir Nazri Abdul Razak is scheduled to take place at Dewan MAKSAK Kota Kinabalu, Sabah starting today.

The two-day tournament received recognition and support from the Muaythai World Council (WMC) and also Muaythai Association of Malaysia and given full support from the Ministry of Sports, Sabah and Sabah Sports Council.

Fadzly Julai will be against Dazz Leonidaz from Karabaw Gym, Kota Kinabalu while, Awang Abdul Rahman will face Syahmie from Unicorn 66 Sabah Gym.

Fadzly is undergoing training under the guidance of Trevor Salang who is also President of the Muaythai Association of Miri.

Meanwhile, Awang Abdul Rahman, is a junior athletes of Sarawak State Sports Council (MSNS) coached by Farid Dahalan. Both athletes are so excited to be given the opportunity to join this tournament and thanked everyone for the support.
