SERIAN: The Education and Career Fair 2022 organised by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) is a unique platform to enhance networking between institutions and the public, especially students and teachers.

Its minister, Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn, hoped students and teachers could get accurate information about careers and education from the exhibition.

“It is my great hope that this exhibition will yield positive results for employers and students as well.

“Students who are nearing the end of their education need to put in a lot of efforts to attract jobs.

“It is the same for employers who need to find the best students or graduates,” said Sagah while officiating at the launch of the exhibition at the Tapah community hall today (Sept 9).

Sagah added that one of the challenges today was that half of the jobs in the world did not exist 25 years ago.

He stressed the need for close cooperation between institutions of higher learning and the industries to promote the job skills required.
