A misleading poster has been making rounds on social media, claiming that the government has introduced a new “Civil Service Allowance” offering a minimum payment of RM800 to public servants.
The Finance Ministry has promptly clarified through a Facebook post that the poster is fake and advises the public to exercise caution and not be easily deceived by such news on social media.
The ministry emphasised the importance of relying on official channels for accurate information. They encourage the people to verify the authenticity of any shared links and refrain from sharing unconfirmed details.
