KUCHING: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has refuted a report posted on social media titled ‘GE15 may be cancelled if there is an increase of positive cases of COVID-19 Omicron XBB, before the voting day on Nov 19, 2022’.
MOH said the report posted on My News Facebook page on November 4, 2022 is fake.
“The caption also does not reflect the real situation and may cause confusion among the public,” MoH said in a statement posted at its official Facebook page, today (Nov 4).
MoH also expressed the ministry’s appreciation and gratitude to the public who continue to wear a face mask when leaving their home to protect themselves as well as for the health and safety of their families and people around them.
