MUKAH: Family Day to be held by Parents and Teachers’ Association (PIBG) of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Lubok Bemban, on February 14 to 16, aims to raise funds for the school and the association.
According to Co-curriculum senior assistant, Simon Jol when speaking to New Sarawak Tribune/Suara Sarawak the three-day festival is enlivened with the Lubok Idol karaoke competition (participation fee RM20.00) on the night of February 14.
Simon added, Pre-School Sports, Level 1 Student Sports and Sports House Events will be held on February 15 while the Sri Bemban Kumang Competition (Participation Fee RM20.00) is held in the evening.
On Feb 16 will be the highlight of SK.Lubok Bemban’s PIBG Family Day, whereby in the afternoon there will be games such as Bottle Fishing Sports, Coconut Bowling, Football in the alley, candy weights, tug of war, blowpipe and Mixed Futsal (Participation fee (RM70.00).
A popular Iban veteran male artiste, Ricky El will be featured to entertain the public, PIBG members and SK.Lubok Bemban residents on the Pemerindang night as well to be held on Feb 16.
Simon said, in addition to lucky draw tickets, booth lots for 10 lots are available for the public who are interested in doing business for which the payment is RM250.00 per lot with a deposit for three nights.
Let’s all come to SK.Lubok Bemban to help and enliven the events that have been planned and to be entertained with the invited artiste Ricky El.
