BAU: Police arrested a family of four at Kampung Apar here for alleged drug abuse today.
The suspects, comprising three men and a woman aged between 27 and 48, were picked up by a team of narcotics police around 6.30am.
Bau district police chief DSP Poge Nyaon said a bag containing five small clear plastic bags filled with syabu was also seized. The syabu weighed 5.29g and valued at RM550.
“All four suspects admitted to involvement in drug abuse, but only two were tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.”
The case is being investigated under Section 39A (1) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
