SIBU: A 22-year-old Indonesian was believed to have committed suicide at a chicken rearing farm in Pasai Siong near here.
The deceased has been identified as Untung Setiyono from Bandar Lampung, Jawa, Indonesia.
Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said at 12.04pm on July 10, police received a call from a member of the public that Untung had hanged himself in a chicken farmhouse.
A police team that rushed to the scene found no external injuries on Untung’s body.
“According to his roommate, the deceased had a heated argument with his girlfriend over the phone before committing suicide,” he said.
“We have ruled out any foul play,” he added.
