Fashion brands are giving back this fall, through a series of charitable initiatives that focus on helping children and adults around the world. These are the companies getting involved.

Christian Siriano
Luxury designer Christian Siriano is helping young cancer survivors find great fashion this fall, via a collaboration with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and the retailer Burlington Stores.
This week, the creative rocked up at the retailer’s flagship store in New York City to outfit young cancer survivors with stylish pieces and provide professional tips for the season.
“Working with LLS and Burlington has brought together two of my passions, driving awareness for lifesaving cancer research and, of course, fashion,” said Siriano in a statement.
“Helping to find a cure for cancer is near and dear to my heart, and I’m happy to be able to outfit these young cancer survivors so that they can feel fabulous and confident.”
Oscar de la Renta The house of Oscar de la Renta is putting on a couture show with a difference on October 6, to support an ‘Endless Summer Dream’ fundraiser for the Dream Foundation, a national dream-granting organisation for terminally-ill adults. The label will present couture-inspired ready-to-wear looks at the event, which will help to raise awareness and funds for the foundation’s work in providing end-of-life care.

H&M
H&M is supporting the Sesame Street Yellow Feather Fund this month with a childrenswear and menswear collection inspired by the popular TV series “Sesame Street.” The fashion retailer has drawn inspiration from characters such as Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Elmo and Abby Cadabby for the series, in addition to announcing a $100,000 donation to the nonprofit educational organisation, which aims to help children become smarter, stronger and kinder. The brand has also sponsored an upcoming series of educational Sesame Street videos starring famous characters from the show, to teach families more about sustainability.

PVH Corp
PVH Corp. — the group behind the fashion giants Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger — is supporting early childhood development through its PVH Foundation, by continuing its partnership with the charity Save the Children. The company, which has been working with the non-profit since 2005, recently announced a $3 million, three-year grant extension in order to help it develop its learning programs in the US, China, Bangladesh and India, as well as youth employability programming in Ethiopia. “The greatest gift we can give a child is education,” said PVH Chairman & CEO Emanuel Chirico in a statement. – Relaxnews
