The issue of a 43-year-old teacher locking a Primary 1 student in an “iron cage” due to disciplinary problems has caught the attention of Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek.
Fadhlina informed online media that the incident, which occurred at a school in Negeri Sembilan, is being investigated.
Yesterday, the police conducted an investigation into the viral case and discovered that the “cage” made of iron was actually an exhibition space for the School Drug Prevention Association.
During the meeting, the police reported that the victim’s father accepted the teacher’s explanation and offered forgiveness.
The matter has been resolved between the parties involved, and as of now, no police reports have been received regarding the incident.
The public is urged not to spread false news that may disrupt public peace.
Previously, Twitter user Azuan Abd Ghafar uploaded a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation between a father and the teacher at the school regarding the viral issue.
