DALAT: Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah on Saturday (Aug 21) visited a pineapple farm at Kampung Sungai Kut Muara here.
The 3.5-acre farm, which started in 2018, belongs to Justino Peter Bagang, 31, and his elder brother Zimmy. It is planted with 50,000 MD2 pineapples and is part of a 15-acre piece of land owned by the brothers.
“They have succeeded with determination, hard work, learning from their trials and errors, courses, educational visits and the advice and guidance from Malaysia Pineapples Planting Board (LPNM) ,” said. Fatimah.
