MIRI: A female motorist suffered injuries after a car she was driving crashed into a roadside tree near the Sri Miri army camp this morning (Feb 20).
Prior to the crash, the BMW saloon car was heading towards the city centre from the airport area when it reportedly skidded off the road and crashed onto the tree.
The lady driver was the sole occupant of the car. She was immediately taken to Miri Hospital for medical treatment.
Emergency services and the police rushed to the scene upon receiving an alert call on the incident.
It is not immediately known what caused the accident but investigation is underway.
