The Finance Ministry has refuted the widespread misinformation regarding an alleged additional RM600 supplement for the Rahmah Cash Aid (STR), asserting that the claim is entirely false.
In a statement, the ministry cautioned the public to be vigilant and not to be easily deceived by such news circulating on Telegram. They advised individuals to refrain from sharing unverified information and emphasised the importance of relying on authentic updates through official channels provided by the ministry.
It was stressed that verifying the legitimacy of news links is crucial.
The Phase 3 distribution of the STR programme took place on June 26. To ensure that the assistance reaches eligible beneficiaries, the appeal application period has been opened from July 3 to July 31.
