KUCHING: Serian Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel managed to extinguish a fire caused by an electrical short circuit of an air-conditioner in a house at Jalan Industry, Serian, around 1.09pm, yesterday.
Ten Serian BOMBA personnel in three vehicles led by PBK II Iskandar Haji Apet were dispatched to the scene.
According to a spokesperson, the BOMBA personnel only switched off the premises’ main switch and open the windows and doors to let the smoke escaped. The operation ended at 1.40pm and no injuries were recorded.
