BINTANGOR: Two houses at Taman Bintang here were damaged by a fire yesterday.
Personnel from Bintangor Fire and Rescue Station (Bomba) rushed to the scene after receiving a phone call around 11.24am.
“The fire affected two single-storey terraced houses. The first house was empty, and the fire started in the living room and the other two rooms.
“It suffered 80 per cent damage. The fire also spread through the ceiling to the second house,” said a Bomba spokesman.
The second house suffered slight damage. The operation ended at 12.50pm.
