ASAJAYA: A shed used for drying coconut kernels was destroyed by a fire at Jalan Kampung Serpang Laut yesterday.
State Fire Department operations centre immediately dispatched a team of firefighters from Asajaya Fire Station to the scene after receiving a distress call on the incident at around 1.38pm.
The firefighters arrived to find the 20×60 sq feet shed almost completely gutted and proceeded to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
