KUCHING: A container trailer was on fire while ferrying goods along Jalan Keranji, Bau at about 11 am yesterday.
After the driver realised that the rear tyres of the trailer were on fire, he immediately stopped the trailer by the roadside and contacted BOMBA (Fire and Rescue Department).
Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters put out the fire within minutes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The driver later contacted his company to send another container trailer to take out goods from the damaged container.
